Big Time Branson

I don't think it's any big secret that my crew loves to spend a little time in Branson each year.  We have vacationed there since Brooks was 10 months old. We LOVE the Marriott Willow Ridge off of Green Mountain Dr. It is tucked away, right off the strip, with a grocery store less than a mile away.  We always get a family suite because it has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and two king beds for us.
The outdoor pool is heated and SO BIG.  They also have an indoor pool, kiddie pool and two hot tubs. They have fun children's activites every day, although we mostly just stick to the pool.

As you can see, I'm a fan! ;) When you have two children that are 22 months apart and so young, the idea of taking extravagant trips with them is ridiculous (in my opinion). In their little world, they don't know a difference...they just enjoy time with Mommy and Daddy.

This year, we went to Silver Dollar City on Saturday before checking in.  It was so much fun. It wasn't too hot yet and all of our cousins came with us. Reese and Jack had a great time together, and Brynlee and Emma Grace were so much fun.  Evie was a little trooper and hung in there as long as she could.

We checked into our hotel that evening and everybody pretty much crashed.  Sunday morning, Blake, Kyndall, and Evie swam with us and ate lunch with us until they had to drive back to LR.  We took naps and headed back down to the pool for the evening.

Monday, because it's tradition to go to the Disney Outlet store and Polo store for some goodies and then eat at Cantina Laredo, that's just what we did. Our little nuggets were exhausted! We barely got back to the car from lunch and they were both O-U-T.

It was such a nice little get-away. I can't wait to go back at Christmas. I'm thankful for some time to unwind and spend with my favorite people.

40th Anniversary

June 10th of this year was my parents 40th Wedding Anniversary. 40 YEARS!!  That is so amazing to me.  Landon, Kyndall and I put together a surprise party for them at Copeland's.  They were completely and utterly shocked. We had the best time celebrating the two of them with friends and family.

I feel so blessed to have the amazing example of my parent's marriage to look up to. They have always put God first, family second, and everything else has fallen into place after that.  They are both hard workers, successful, selfless, trustworthy, honest, and have loved and supported the three of us kids since we were born.  I know what it is like to be unconditionally loved and I pray daily that I can radiate these types of qualities in my marriage. We love you so much Mom and Dad!!!  We can't wait to throw another shindig for your 50th!

And now these 4 are off to Florida to celebrate!!!
Behave yourselves!  :)

Summer Lovin'

We are starting our Summer off with lots of time outside.  This year, Matt and I have spruced up the back yard, by adding outdoor lights and a t.v. on the patio, a new swing set for the kids, and we're in the process of pouring another patio with a fire pit.  I have two children who LOVE to be outside...in fact they would live there if they could.

This kid loves to play in the mud!

Dress Up

B-man loves to watch his Paw Patrol on the patio

Daddy brought a turtle home and Reese loved it.

Sis and I went shopping one Saturday morning. We were on a mission to find her new headbands, some "good smelling lotion" like Mommy wears, and new panties.

Brooks enjoyed donuts with Daddy one morning.

Happy Memorial Day weekend!

Ice Cream for Dinner :)

Pool Fun!!

We went to watch Bryn and EG play softball.

Linz, Les, and I had dinner at PF Chang's.

I'm thrilled it's only the second week of June.  We have so much fun planned for this summer...bring on the warm weather and SUNSHINE!!!
