Boo to You!

Our Halloween was a great one.  The weather was pretty cold and rainy, but other than that, I think everyone had lots of fun.  We had Brooks' Halloween Party at MDO on Tuesday, and then Reese had her Kindergarten Halloween party on Wednesday.  Matt was off work, so he was able to go to Reese's party.  It was so much fun seeing her interact with all her little friends.

Halloween night was cold and rainy, and I was absolutely SHOCKED at how long my littles lasted. We headed out around 5:30, and were at home a little after 7:00.  Despite being cold, they had a great time!  (Below is a picture Landon sent me of his 3 ready to Trick-or-Treat.)
We met up with the Moll's so Reese could run around with Harper.

HAPPY  HALLOWEEN!!

Poppy and Amie Come to Town

We were able to have Poppy and Amie come and stay with us the last weekend of October.  It's always so nice having them in town.  The weather was absolutely gorgeous.  I made a roast for all of us to have on Thursday night and then we ordered pizza and stayed in on Friday.  Saturday, we decided to treat them to Big Orange and then we took them to Crystal Bridges to walk all the beautiful trails.  It was the perfect afternoon.  We had a cozy night in on Saturday, then they headed home on Sunday.

Sunday night, we had our church social.  The kids had a blast playing and we enjoyed all the yummy, delicious food.

Bushels of Fun🍁

This season of Fall in NWA has been one of the prettiest I’ve ever seen.  This glorious October has revealed bright orange, golden yellow, and ripe red leaves that sway in the breeze. They are slowly beginning to shed from the trees.  It’s a reminder that my favorite season is short, and just around the corner Winter is awaiting.

We’ve been soaking up the last of the longer days and making the most of another wonderful season. Last weekend was War Eagle, and the Reese crew was in town from Tulsa.  Kyndall and Blake introduced sweet Garner to the farm, and Pawpaw took us on one of the best hay rides to date. 🚜
It was so much fun and another memorable day for all of the kiddos.

Sunday, after church, we all went to eat at Joe’s and then headed to McGarrah Pumpkin Patch with our life group that night.  It was a lot of fun with some of our favorite people.

The following Tuesday night, Jocelyn, Laura, and Ted were in town visiting.  So we had everyone over to our house to eat lasagna, salad, hot rolls, and desserts.  We had so much fun just sitting around and laughing.  I miss those 3 a lot...it's always SO GOOD to see them.

Thankful for these days!!
