Easter Sunday, April 4, was the first day our little family of four went back to church in person, in over a year. 2020 was a year where I feel like time stood still, yet we missed out on so much. I cried at church that morning, just listening to everyone sing songs of praises to our Lord. I soaked in hugging people that I hadn't seen in so long, I soaked in the singing, and the beautiful sermon that I was able to sit and listen to in a pew. It was a wonderful and gorgeous Easter to celebrate.

Easter 2021
After the Easter bunny dropped off goodies, and we went to church and celebrated Jesus being Risen, we went out to the farm with Mom and Dad. We ate lunch and had the best time riding four wheelers and dirt bikes. The weather was so pretty and it really was the best day.
March Madness
Matt and I went to Dallas the first weekend in March. We had the best time staying at the Adolphus, sipping cocktails, shopping, sleeping in and just being together. We ate at The Charles on Friday night, and then met Josh and Lauren at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse on Saturday night. It was such a great weekend.
Jocelyn and Laura came into town to help us go through Mamaw's house and belongings. It was so wonderful to have all 5 of the grandkids on my Dad's side together. We laughed and we cried. It truly was good for my soul to be with them.
We went to Monroe for Spring Break to visit our LA crew and had the best time fishing, meeting Baker and Ivey (Rottie puppies), seeing Jack and Emily's new house, and soaking up lots of time with family.

A HUGE catch up....
Well, today is the last day of May, and I haven't blogged one thing this year. 😬 I am so far behind, but am going to try to capture the big stuff month by month. So here it goes....
JANUARY 2021
We celebrated Matt's 44th birthday with neighbors😀
For Evie's birthday, she wanted a cousin sleepover at Mimi and Pawpaw's. So, Matt and I snuck out for a date night and had drinks at the Hive and dinner at AOI Sushi. The next day we all celebrated sweet Ev at Marketplace.
The Five Corners went to the Karaoke bar in Fayetteville and had a blast.
We had another big snow and the kids soaked it up.
Aunt Jules came to town with Jason and the girls. We had the best time having dinner at Oven and Tap and can't wait to see them again.
FEBRUARY 2021
We celebrated sweet Jude's 6th birthday with pizza at Bariola's and a party at his house.
Next up...our fun and busy March.

The Day After Christmas
The day after Christmas, the weather here was beautiful. We all went up to the farm and rode four wheelers and dirt bikes and Pawpaw took us on a hayride. It was the best day! Kyndall and I picked up pizza that night and we celebrated mom and dad's birthday with the whole crew. It truly was the most perfect day💜
