GREEN VALLEY BIBLE CAMP

This year was a big year at GVBC for Reese. It was her first time to go to overnight camp, and she loved it.  I know it helped tremendously to have her cousins, Aunt Brandi, and friend, Reese Ann there too.  I was able to counsel day camp for a few days, so I could sneak some daily hugs in as well. 😉 Brooks was a day camper all week and is getting more excited for when he can go to night camp.

Jack, our nephew, was baptized by Landon on Wednesday night. We were all there to witness his new birth and cheer him on. I’m so thankful for this amazing place where kids are able to grow closer to Jesus and learn more about His word. It’s surreal seeing my kids go, knowing I grew up going every single year.

Summer Days

Summer is flying by and the busyness hasn't slowed down an inch. Lot of fun in the making!

An afternoon at Top Golf.

Crystal Bridges had an amazing exhibit called Exquisite Creatures that we went to see.  Both kids LOVED it!

John Legend Concert

The first weekend of June, John Legend was playing at the Momentary.  We girls (and Dallas, bc Kim couldn't go) were able to see him perform and I absolutely LOVED it.

As we were leaving the concert, I ran into David! 😍 Turns out, quite a few people drove up from Little Rock.

Baseball Tournaments and Piano Recitals

Life has been busy lately, and I am here for it. Brooks is playing for Prospects Gray 9U this year and his little team is full of lots of sweet kiddos. ⚾️  We recently had a tournament in Osage Beach, MO and the entire team stayed together at the Margaritaville resort. It was a whole lot of fun and I LOVED getting to know the players and their families better.

Although we didn’t bring home a ring, the boys played good and enjoyed the water park and slides, the arcade, the restaurants, the pool, and running up and down the halls of the resort together.

Reese and Brooks also just finished up another year of piano. We had their Spring Recital on May 19, and I’m just so proud of them.  Both of them participated in ‘festival’, and received a SUPERIOR.  This is when they play a piece of music by memory in front of a judge, and she grades them and provides feedback. This was Reese’s 3rd year to receive a superior. She knocked it out of the park.  Brooks’ participated for the first time this year and did amazing.  He really didn’t want to do it, so we are so proud of him for giving it a try.
