Girls Weekend and A Baby Shower

Mom, Reese, and I made a road trip to Little Rock for a girls weekend with Kyndall.  A few of us were hosting a baby shower on Saturday, the 14th of November, so we headed down on Friday night.  Blake was hunting all weekend, and Reese and I left Matt and Brooks to hold down the fort. :)

 

 

 

 

We ordered in Purple Cow (gosh, I miss that place) and watched Elf while curled up on the couch Friday night.  Reese was pretty excited to be with the girls all weekend...and to see Evie's nursery almost all ready for her. Saturday, I had to leave early to set up at Julianna's and the shower was at 2:00.  There was a great turnout and Kyndall and Blake received lots of nice things.  Afterwards, we girls went to eat an early dinner at Local Lime (one of my favorites) and then came back to Kyndall's to watch the HOGS beat LSU.  It was the perfect night in.  Sunday was full of going through all the many presents and working in the nursery before we headed back to NWA. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am so thankful for such a wonderful weekend.  Baby Evie is already so loved and we just can't wait to meet her!!

 

 

 

 

 

Random Spatterings

I've been trying to do a better job at capturing random moments with the camera.  One day I want to look back at our little life and remember the "small stuff."  Sure it's fun to document holidays, birthdays, and vacations because they are all great, but it's the little daily memories as well that I never want to forget. So, with that being said, this is a post of a bunch of random pictures and a little taste of our life lately. :))

Reese got to bring home her class pet last weekend, Daisy the cat. Daisy slept with her, ate with Jovie and we even had a tea party with Daisy. ;)

Showering Baby Evie

Mom and I made a quick trip to Little Rock on Sunday for Kyndall's first baby shower for sweet Evelyn Rose.  It was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!  I'm not saying this because it's my sister, but it truly was the most beautiful baby shower I've ever been to.  Kyndall is so very lucky to have such wonderful church friends at PV that truly love her.  She received lots of goodies and Mom and I were so happy to be a part of such a fun day.  This sweet baby girl is already loved so much!!!
