School‘s Out for Summer - KC Bound!!

To celebrate another successful school year, we decided to drive to KC for the long weekend.  We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge and the kids loved it.  Matt and I tolerated it 😏 I’m being facetious.  It was very clean, I’m just not a big fan of indoor water parks. (They honestly gross me out.) However, the kids loved the lazy river, the slides, and of course the hot tub.

We ate at the Brass Onion, the Yard House, went to a KC Royals game, spent a small fortune at the arcade, and had fun playing mini golf. It was a great way to KICK OFF SUMMER! ☀️

 

Beach Trip 2023 - June

 This year the whole FAM went to Gulf Shores together.  (We go every other year).  I feel like each year just keeps getting better.  We had SO MUCH FUN! We stayed 7 nights and ate at Lulu's, Acme Oysters, LA Lagniappe, and the Hangout. We played baseball on the beach, went crab hunting, spent tons of time in the pool going down the slide, and enjoyed making ALL the memories. We drove to Pensacola to watch the Blue Angels fly too. They were amazing! We watched the very first female pilot in the Blue Angels fly. She's made history.  

We also had professional pictures taken, which turned out amazing. 

Beyond thankful for this amazing trip with family.
