Naturals Baseball Game

Last Sunday, after church, we headed to the Arvest stadium to watch the Naturals play.  Brynlee Claire was singing, so we all listened to Northside perform and then enjoyed the first 5 innings, before meltdown central occurred with our two.  Our kiddos still nap every day for almost 2 hours, so you can imagine with no nap after church, lunch, and half a ball game, it was a little crazy!  It made Matt and I realize though that we need to do baseball games more often.  It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun!

36 Years Old

It's so funny to me how much life changes.  6 years ago, I celebrated my 30th birthday in Las Vegas.  We had a suite at the Bellagio, I bought a Louis Vuitton handbag, we ate like kings and watched shows, danced the night away in the VIP section of The Bank, and it was absolutely wonderful.  6 years later, to celebrate my birthday, my little family of 4 went to Chuy's for an early dinner, we celebrated with a big cookie cake at our life group on Sunday, and Monday night, Matt and I ate dinner at Bonefish.  My how times change....  But I wouldn't change a thing.  It was great to celebrate with my littles.  Besides the fact that I can't believe I am 36 years old, it was wonderful.  I'm just thankful for another year, and pray for many more!!

April Memories

I know I say this every blog post, but I can't believe how fast time is going. How is the month of April over?  I'm going to be honest, this month has been crazy!! Matt and I have been so busy with work, and it seems that his school load has really increased over the past two weeks as well. I feel like we are just barely getting it all done.  But just as any other working family does, we focus on making time for our kiddos and having as much fun as we possibly can.

The first week of April, Jules and Jason came in town with sweet Morgan. I think it's safe to say...Brooks has a crush.  We had a great time Friday night playing in the yard and Saturday morning, Brooks and Morgan went to Little Gym together.

We also went to Hudson Honea's big 5th birthday party!!  Reese and Brooks had the best time on the pony rides.

Brooks man won an award for showing FAITHFULNESS at school.  Matt and I joke that he is pretty faithful...to his plate of food.  In all seriousness, it was adorable!!  We are super proud of our little guy!

We also went to Kate Shelby's birthday party at the Community Center.  We had a great time!

And I will leave you with some beautiful, precious pictures of my sweet niece, Evie.  She melts my heart!
