Too Cute To Spook

My sweet babes had their pictures in their Halloween costumes taken again this year by the fabulous Kara Johnson. These are some of my favorite pictures that we take every year. She always captures them perfectly. 🎃👻

Our First Kindergarten Field Trip

Reese’s class had their first Kindergarten field trip to the pumpkin patch in Pea Ridge on October 2. It was really comical how many parents were there. 😂 She had a great time with all of her little friends and I loved seeing her in her element...running and playing with everyone.  I was able to meet some of the parents I didn’t really know yet too.  It was a wonderful first field trip!

As the Leaves Turn...

Fall is my favorite time of year.  I love when the leaves turn red, gold and auburn.  When the air is crisp, and those chilly nights follow a day of crunchy leaves underfoot.  It's the smell of apple cider and cinnamon inside my home while I look out our tall windows at the colorful mums and painted pumpkins on my front porch. It's a reminder of all the holidays that are just right around the corner, and the memories that are just waiting to be made. It's my favorite.

We've been busy soaking up all the memories that come along with this new season.

Fall Nights are my FAVORITE with these peeps!

Always needs a haircut...

GNO with some of my favorites!  Local Lime just opened last month and we LOVE it!

Reese loves to play school...look at how attentive those students are ;)

Ben Brainard has opened up the Local Lime in Rogers and it looks amazing.  Not to mention, the food is the best.  We went to the soft opening on September 22 and then went to Dave and Buster's for a fun night of games.  It was the perfect date night!

I had to fly to Austin for meetings the last week of September. We stayed on the lake.  It's always a good time with my work crew.

Top Golf

Donuts with Dad was Tuesday morning, while I was in Austin.  Matt was such a trooper and held down the fort successfully while I was gone.

We went to see Nana on September 29.  We brought her lunch and had a wonderful visit. She didn't know who Reese and Brooks were, but she knew I was a grand-daughter. It makes me sad to see her memory slowly decline.  We love her so much!

Reese colored her a beautiful picture before and gave it to her.  Nana loved it!

After visiting Nana, we went to the Harrison's house to stay the night.  We are so excited that Clay and Katie are only an hour and a half away now.  Clay grilled out steaks, veggies, and a TON of other stuff.  It was AMAZING!

The kids had a great time playing together.

 Sweet Truman

Matt and I had a date day and went to see Jersey Boys on October 6.  It was FANTASTIC!!

I was the mystery reader in Reese's class in September.

Mimi was the mystery reader in October.

Love him!

✨Hollywood Studios✨

So, Thursday was our last day in the parks.  We spent the day at Hollywood Studios.  We slept in, and didn't get there until around 11:00, but it was great! We started the day with lunch at the Sci-fi Drive Inn, and it was so good and a really fun atmosphere.  When it was over we went to meet Olaf, rode the Muppet 3Dride, and then headed to Toy Story Land.

Toy Story Land was amazing.  We rode Toy Story Mania, the Alien Swirling Saucers, met Buzz, enjoyed marching with the soldiers, and rode the Slinky Dog.  It was definitely one of the highlights
 of our trip.

We met a lot more characters that afternoon, and then ate an early dinner at Hollywood and Vine with Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and Daisy. The character meals never got old.  We loved every one of them!

We were all ready for the Fantasmic show that evening, and it ended up getting cancelled due to lightning and a storm moving in.  I was pretty bummed, but it was honestly the only thing that didn't go as planned during our entire week.

I cannot put into words how amazing this trip was.  It truly was so magical and I believe that Disney IS the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH. I feel so blessed that we were able to go and enjoy such a wonderful time together as a family.  We cannot wait to go back!!!

We flew home on Friday morning and were happy to have a weekend to rest and reminisce about all the fun we had.  Reese and Brooks got to go into the cockpit of our plane again on the way home and were on cloud 9. What an awesome experience for two littles who had never flown before.
