What I'm Loving....

It's been a while since I have just done a random post of what I've been loving recently, so since I am home sick today with a horrible sinus infection, I figured why not?

I love that we got to spend Friday night at the Hilton Landing in Branson last weekend.  Mom and Dad watched Reese for us while we enjoyed a night of dinner and drinks, shopping, sleeping in, and some quality time just being together!  Love this man.

I am loving these floral shorts that I just bought.  They're cute and modest, perfect for a Mom

My new favorite handbag that my sweet sister surprised me with a few months ago. LOVE IT!

This coral maxi skirt is my new favorite.  I've been pairing it with V-neck tees and it's so comfortable

Tie-dyed Pikos!!!!   I'm hoping to see the short sleeved one in my closet soon ;) Scarlet is the only boutique carrying these!

The fact that these two beautiful people get married in exactly 16 days!!! I can't wait for all the festivities to begin!!

And of course no post would be complete without a picture of this sweet little jelly bean!!  Oh she's getting SOO big!!!

The Big 33

I suppose that 33 isn't the most exciting birthday, but for this girl...it was perfect!!!  I can't believe that I am thirty-three!  (#old)  I am so grateful for the blessings of this year and thank the Lord that I was able to celebrate it with those that I love.  This birthday was extra special because it was my first birthday as a Mom.  In fact, Reese was so excited it was my birthday that she woke up at 4:00 a.m. ready to celebrate.  *STINKER*

After a busy morning at work, the celebrating started when I took a break for a delicious lunch.  Kyndall, Jules, and David met me on the patio at Sushi Cafe'.  Then, Kyndall and I did a little birthday shopping in the Heights.   We both found some great stuff.  She also surprised me with a gift card to one of my favorite local boutiques, Scarlet.  Can you say the best sister EVER??

I picked up 'lil bit' early and got some extra snuggles and loving.  Reese (she's such a shopper) got me a Pandora charm for my bracelet that is her birthstone. It's a sapphire and I love it!!

Matt surprised me by asking Kyndall to baby-sit Wednesday night so that we could go to dinner.  We decided on our hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant, Cafe' Prego. We love that place and had a wonderful evening on the patio with wine, salads, pasta, and chocolate crème brulee.  He was a sweetheart and got me a big gift card to one of my favorite stores, Anthropologie!!  You know I'll be finding some great stuff there!!!

A night out with this handsome guy was the icing on the cake!!

The older I get the more I care less about the presents (don't get me wrong, I love a nice little something every now and then) and care more about the people who have come into my life.  There's something so cool about reading all the texts, facebook comments, Instagram remarks, and cards from so many people!  I am thankful for each day and I pray daily that the Lord will continue to bless my entire family and all of you!!

Another Fantastic Bridal Shower....

WOW!!!  We had such a crazy and busy weekend, but I wouldn't trade it for anything!!!  For starters, Friday at work was nuts (a whole other blog post) and then I worked at the Tour de Cure for the ADA on Saturday morning.  Kyndall's bridal shower was hosted at our house on Saturday afternoon and we had THE BEST time with some of my favorite people!  There was lots of great food, sparkling apple sangrias and peach/strawberry sangrias, presents galore, and great company!!  Mom came in town and we had a turn out of over 30 peeps...such a great day!!

LOVE THESE GIRLS!!!

That night, we had a wedding reception to go to for Sam and Heather at the Chenal Country Club.  Mom kindly volunteered to watch Reese for us.  Our neighbors Erin and Justin rode with us and we had the best time catching up with lots of people and dancing the night away to Trajikly White (one of my favorite bands EVER.)

Garvan Gardens

After such a crazy week, we had a wonderful weekend at home.  The weather was AMAZING!!  Reese and I made it home around 5:00 on Friday and Matt picked up Firehouse Subs for dinner while I got her ready for bed.  After a good night's sleep, someone was up bright and early!  (I think she was excited to spend some play time with her Daddy since she hadn't seen him for 3 days!)  Matt made cinnamon rolls for breakfast and we had a lazy morning of cartoons and fun.

We decided to head to Hot Springs that afternoon to visit the Garvan Gardens.  (I have lived in central AR for 10 years and have never been??!)  We stopped at Chick-Fil-A for lunch before heading out of town.  The gardens were beautiful!! And to top off our trip, we stopped by Kim and Adam's house on the way home.  It was the perfect afternoon!!!

Sunday, we made it to early church and after service ran to Lowe's to load up on mulch for the yard.  Kyndall's big Little Rock shower is at our house on Saturday and we are so excited about it!!!  Trying to get the house all ready for the big day!
