Another Unforgettable Weekend...

This weekend was so much fun!!  We left after work on Friday and drove to Hot Springs to spend some time on the lake with Emily (Matt's sister), Jack and the three kiddos (Olivia Kate -5, Jack Henry -3, and Sam Wyatt-1).  We were able to stay at a beautiful home right on the water (it belonged to Alicyn and David who brought their sweet boys Landon-5 and Branton-2).  We grilled out on Friday, took a boat ride at sunset, and then enjoyed some adult time on the dock. It was great to catch up and just spend time with everyone. Saturday started with breakfast on the dock and then out on the boat for some tubing.  Em and Ali had a slip-n-slide, baby pool, and sprinkler all set up for the kids in the yard too.  I could've stayed there for days.  It was so relaxing!!  Here are a ton of great pics....

Matt and I had the best time with everyone, I wish we could do it more often.  Thanks to Alicyn and David for having us.  I just adore these kids and I feel so blessed that I am a part of Matt's wonderful family.  We had to leave Hot Springs around 2:00 on Saturday and head back to Little Rock for a pool party.  It was a lot of fun and a great way to end the night.  Great pictures below of the party!!

Memories in May

This weekend was fast and furious, but so much fun!!  Kyndall and I drove to Rogers Saturday morning and spent the day with the family.  Brandi looks and feels so good...we are all so excited for Emma's arrival!

Saturday night was spent with a friend that God has truly blessed my life with...Miss Amanda.  We went to Bonefish Grill together and caught up on as much as we could in a two-hour time frame.  She is one of those people that I can go weeks without talking to and then pick up right where we left off.  We laugh until we cry, we relive our younger years and we encourage each other to be better people.  It was so  much fun, and the time we have is NEVER long enough. (Rampey, we want to have a slumber party soon....and Lauren, it would be nice if you could drive up for it too :)

Sunday was filled with a great morning at Bentonville's church.  Aunt Patti and Uncle Jack joined us too.  We had brunch at Copeland's and went to Brandi's baby shower. Kathy, Holly, Amanda, etc. did such a nice job of hosting and I know Brandi loved it.  (not to mention got a lot of goodies) Here are some pictures from that afternoon and of course sweet Brynlee Claire who is growing like a weed!!

Brynlee Claire

It's amazing how excited I am to come home this weekend.  Home to me will always be Rogers.  I was born there, went to high school there and always love coming back to visit.  I love getting to visit with all of my family and  friends when I come home, however nothing lights me up more than when I see my niece Brynlee Claire.  I know we are all partial to the children in our lives, but I truly think she is the most adorable thing in the world.  The way her face lights up when she sees me and she just starts running (at a slow pace) with those little arms in the air.  I love picking her up and spinning around with her in my arms and planting kisses all over her sweet face.  I love her so much and cannot wait to meet my brother and Brandi's next little girl, Emma Grace. Being an aunt is the best thing in the world.  It is my job to spoil them rotten whenever I can with candy, clothes, shoes, and whatever else they want. (Brandi would disagree :) Below are some pictures of BC, Emma should join our world in 19 days!!
Yes, at one-year old she already knows where the cash is
in Aunt Kia's wallet :)
Perfect little present
Lovin' the Razorback dress and tights.

I'm sure Miss Emma will be as sweet as this angel.

I am also blessed with two of the CUTEST nephews and a BEAUTIFUL 5-year old niece that live in Monroe. I will be blogging about them soon because they're visiting at the end of this month.  I know some people will say, "The love you have for your nieces and nephews won't compare to when you have your own children one day." That may be true, but I'm not yet ready for that day.  I am so happy right now with the life that Matt and I have; we are truly blessed.  One day, if God thinks it is time, then he will bless us with our own child, but for now I am more than content to soak up every second I can with the five sweet nieces and nephews that are such a blessing to us today.  More pictures to come after this weekend!!
