This Spring Break, Kyndall turned the BIG 4-0! We decided back in the fall of 2024 that we wanted to all go celebrate together and a Royal Caribbean Cruise to Mexico would be our destination. Talk about so…much…fun!! We embarked on a 5 night cruise with the whole crew. Although it was a little chaotic sometimes, we made the BEST memories and had such an incredible time. The kids were living their very best life! 🥰
We flew into Houston and got a party bus to the Galveston port.
As soon as we boarded the ship, we went exploring and had a blast getting ready to SET SAIL! ⛵️The kids dove into the food, the parents dove into the tropical drinks. Golf on the upper deck and the water slide were favorites.
We ate like kings and queens in the main dining room and in the Windjammer for most of the trip. On the 25th, Kyndall’s 40th birthday, we enjoyed the Hibachi Grill, which was amazing!
We girls enjoyed an afternoon at the Women of Wine tasting. It was probably one of my favorite things we did. Lots of great information about wine, and so fun to hang out for a few hours sans children. 😉
One of the excursions we went on in Costa Maya was to the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins. I loved it. Such a cool thing to get to see the structures and temples from so long ago.
Another excursion we did was in Cozumel and it was swimming with dolphins. What an incredible experience with these majestic creatures! This was a HIT with every single person.
We had dinner at the Hibachi grill on Kyndall’s actual birthday and then went back to the piano bar. It was definitely a favorite of everyone’s. I think we stopped by there most nights.
So much fun for all of us! I pray that we will be able to do something like this again.
