Aven Reese Turns 8!!

Our sweet girl turned 8 on Friday, September 12...the day we drove home from the beach.  I know...not the best birthday with being in the car for 5 hours.  However, the night before she picked the Hangout to eat at and we were able to shower her with gifts before hitting the road.

What was super special was that Emily and all of our cousins in Monroe surprised her with a cake, balloons, and presents.  They were so sweet to throw her a little birthday celebration. Overall, I know she had a wonderful day.  We love you sweet girl, and Happy 8th Birthday!!

Two days later, when we were home and ready for school, we were still celebrating...🙌

Random Fun That I Missed Posting

We spent a lot of time outdoors this past summer.  We went to Roaring River one Saturday with family and the water was freezing, but these kids didn't mind one bit. 

Mother's Day - we spent it at the farm because Matt had to work.  It was a wonderful day with my littles. 

We also spent a week day celebrating Kim's birthday, fishing at Roaring River with all our neighbors in July. It was so much fun! Brooks was one of the only ones to catch a fish.  🎣

Our anniversary looked a little different this year.  We celebrated 11 years (with the kids) at Local Lime. 

This kid learned to ride his bike this summer and graduated from Bridge class at His House. They did a drive thru graduation for him.

Reese played in a virtual Spring piano recital
