Garvan Gardens

After such a crazy week, we had a wonderful weekend at home.  The weather was AMAZING!!  Reese and I made it home around 5:00 on Friday and Matt picked up Firehouse Subs for dinner while I got her ready for bed.  After a good night's sleep, someone was up bright and early!  (I think she was excited to spend some play time with her Daddy since she hadn't seen him for 3 days!)  Matt made cinnamon rolls for breakfast and we had a lazy morning of cartoons and fun.

We decided to head to Hot Springs that afternoon to visit the Garvan Gardens.  (I have lived in central AR for 10 years and have never been??!)  We stopped at Chick-Fil-A for lunch before heading out of town.  The gardens were beautiful!! And to top off our trip, we stopped by Kim and Adam's house on the way home.  It was the perfect afternoon!!!

Sunday, we made it to early church and after service ran to Lowe's to load up on mulch for the yard.  Kyndall's big Little Rock shower is at our house on Saturday and we are so excited about it!!!  Trying to get the house all ready for the big day!

A Crazy, Busy Week

Last week was a great week, but boy am I glad it's over!!!!  I had meetings in NWA last week and Matt couldn't get off work.  (When you're short-handed in the O.R., there's no vacation for anyone!)  I brought Reese with me and I'm so thankful for family who helped out every single day!!  My meetings started Wednesday at 11:00 in the morning, so we left bright and early at 6:30.  I took Reese to my sister-in-law's house.  Brandi is kind of a ROCKSTAR!!  I refer to her as Super Mom!! She kept Reese Wednesday until my Mom could pick her up. Mom and Dad AKA Mimi and PawPaw kept her Thursday and Friday.  She LOVED spending some time with them!!

Our meetings were great and we had a lot of fun.  We went to Crystal Bridges, ate at Travola on the square in Bentonville, went to opening night at Arvest stadium for the Naturals game, got to go shopping, and had lunch on the patio at P.F. Changs.   It was a good week, but I was happy to be home with my hubs and baby girl on Friday night!!!

Easter Weekend

Well, I have a lot to catch up on, so let's start with Easter.  Mom came in town for the holiday weekend because we helped Kyndall and Blake get some things moved into their house.  (Dad had to work and couldn't come down).  We enjoyed Panera for breakfast on Saturday morning and then we all (including Blake's family) headed to their new home to work.  It was such a fun day!!

Sunday morning, I caught the Easter bunny hopping out the door and boy did he leave some loot for Reese!  (Yes, Mommy he went overboard).  He brought her rattles, chewbeads, socks, bows, barnyard buddies with a barn, books and clothes.  She was adorable scoping out everything!!

We all went to church that morning and enjoyed a wonderful service.  Afterwards, Blake's parents had us out to their beautiful home for a feast!!  It was SOOO good!!  We took pictures outside after dessert.
