January and February

Well…2024 is off to a fast start! January was a month of celebrating families birthday’s and staying all cozy inside by the fire. If I am honest, I love that January is usually a month where we hibernate. It gets dark so early, it’s very cold and often snowing, and I love having everyone home to snuggle up in the evenings.  It’s cold enough that we don’t want to really venture out. 

Matt had a birthday on the 18th, Evie celebrated her 8th birthday on the 21st, and Jude turned 9 on February 1.  Charlie Claire also had a birthday on the 4th and Jack Henry on the 18th of January.  Unfortunately, we’re not close enough to celebrate together. 

We went to Dave and Buster’s (at the kids request) to celebrate Matt’s birthday. We went on a Thursday, hardly anyone was there, and it was great!!🎉 We drove to Little Rock to celebrate Evie’s birthday at the skating rink, and then had a family dinner at El Pueblito’s for Jude’s birthday and played laser tag.

Valentine's Day, Brooks had a school party.  Reese doesn't have "parties" anymore in middle school, but she dressed the part for LOVE day. 

Rocky turned 3 on February 19th!  We celebrated our sweet Rock-Dog with toys, bones, and treats.  We all love him so much!!💙

We also celebrated the Super Bowl at Landon and Brandi's.  WOO HOO!!!  We were so excited that the KC Chiefs WON🏈

It's hard to believe today is March 1st.  I've got lots to catch up on!
