Monroe Funroe

As always, we had the best time in Monroe at the end of June. We usually always go to celebrate the 4th of July, but since it falls in the middle of the week this year, we decided to go the weekend before and stay through the 3rd. (Matt had to work on the 4th).

It was low key and wonderful. The kids swam, we played basketball, enjoyed a night at the Creel’s grilling out burgers, went fishing on the dock, and had a blast setting off fireworks.  The only negative part to our trip was that it wasn’t long enough.
