Changing Seasons

Our little crew has enjoyed a great summer.  As we've been wrapping the last few weeks before school up, we've been cramming in all sorts of fun.  We went to the square one night and took the kids to eat at Tusk and Trotter.  Afterwards, they both brought some of their piggy bank money to the five and dime store and purchased some goodies. We then went to get ice cream at the 'Sweet Dreams' food truck.  It was one of the most perfect summer nights!!

These cousins had 'Cousin Camp' at Mimi and Pawpaw's one weekend. That's right...the BEST MIMI in the WORLD kept all 6 of these kiddos and they had a BLAST!! We were pretty excited to, because it allowed us parents to go out on the town and play. The 6 of us went to Preacher's Son for a cocktail, ate dinner at Oven and Tap, and then topped our night off with dessert at the Hive. We had so much fun, and I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. :)

This picture we titled "Matt and his minions"

The next morning, Matt and I took Blake and Kyndall to Press Room for brunch and then we all went down to the dock on the lake. We picked up pizzas and took them to Mom and Dad's Saturday night to all hang out before picking up the kids and bringing them home. It was a great day!

Our garden has been so great this year. We've had a lot of produce (including tomatoes, my favorite!) It's been great for the kids too!

Saturdayzzzz

With the end of every season, comes the excitement of a new season. I have to say that this Summer has been one of the best.  I always find myself anxious for Fall, however it's different this year... I've been wishing Summer would hang on just a little bit longer.

Reese and Brooks started school in August and this year our sweet girl is in the Bridge class. I'm having a hard time coming to the realization that she will start Kindergarten next year.  Where does the time go?  I know she will do wonderful this year and we're excited for all the new things she'll be learning.

Our sweet Brooks-man started Pre-K3 this year and I think he's going to love it.  He's grown a lot in the past year and I know this year will be another year of growth for our big guy!
