I am finally getting around to posting about our beach vacation that we took at the first of September.... We officially soaked up the end of summer with our toes in the sand. This is the second year we've gone to the beach in September and it's the IDEAL time to come. The crowds are minimal and the weather is PERFECT, we loved every minute!
We spent lots of time on the beach and in the pool. We enjoyed dinners at Lulu's, Louisiana Lagniappe, and Acme Oyster House. We went to Baytowne Wharf on Wednesday night and had a great time letting the kids ride the carousel, eat their weight in candy from 'Sweet Treats', and run wild around the square. It was wonderful! The Creel's were there the same week we were and funny enough we stayed at the same place. We were able to sneak out for an adults night and enjoyed Fish Out of Water for dinner. Matt and I hadn't been there since our baby moon before Reese was born. :) It was as delicious as I remember!
We're always sad to go home, but more than thankful for a great time together as a family. I cherish these days and soak up all the memories.
The beach is our HAPPY PLACE! So thankful for a wonderful family vacation!!
