Celebrating Mom's Birthday

Mom's birthday is December 28.  While we are all in town together for the holidays, we go out and celebrate our favorite Mom and Mimi.  She was a trooper this year.  We all went to Flying Fish to celebrate on Thursday night (mom doesn't even like fish), and then we walked around the Bentonville square for the evening. The weather was great and the kids loved all the lights.  We are so blessed by my Mom.  She is the most selfless, generous, kind, God-fearing woman I know. I talk to her multiple times a day and count her as one of my greatest blessings.  Happy Birthday Mom!!  You are loved more than you could ever know. 

Ornaments and Cookies

Mimi had her annual ornament and cookie making day on the 26th of December this year.  With Nana being sick, we had to move a few things around.  These cousins knew nothing different...they loved every minute of all the crafting, baking, and being together.  I love that Mom does this every year. 

Christmas Day

Christmas Day is one of my favorite days of the year.  I love waking up to two very excited kiddos running to see what Santa brought them.  To watch their eyes twinkle through the entire holiday season is magical, but there is something about Christmas Day that makes all the hustle and bustle and stressful moments worth it.  All the presents are wrapped under the tree, and it's a day of spoiling the ones we love with time together, nice presents, good food, and wonderful memories. 

This year Brooks asked Santa for a Paw Patrol Command Center.  

Reese asked Santa for the American Girl camper and jeep.

After having a wonderful morning at home opening presents, we drove to Mom and Dad's and spent the day at the farm. It was a beautiful day, the weather was perfect for a train ride.  We opened more presents, ate a delicious meal, and enjoyed being outside and together. 

Christmas 2019 was just amazing!!  I am so thankful for holidays with this family of mine.
