The weekend before Christmas is always something I look forward to. By this time, all the presents are wrapped and under the tree. My shopping is (mostly) finished, and we're just anticipating all the excitement of Christmas. Friday night, Matt and I had a date night and went to the Undercroft Bar and then to eat dinner at PressRoom. It was so much fun. The bar underneath Preacher's Son was decorated to the nine's and would put anyone in the holiday spirit.
Saturday night, we had our neighborhood Christmas party. We decided to do a little progressive dinner between 3-4 of our houses and each served a Christmas cocktail and appetizers. It was so much fun and the kids loved jumping from house to house to play. Matt made a Christmas margarita that was SOO good and was a big hit.
Sunday, we went to church and celebrated the reason for the season. The Sunday before Christmas is always special. We did spend the afternoon taking a BIG nap, which was so nice. My idea of the perfect Sunday. ;)
