Bridal Luncheon and Rehearsal Dinner

Friday morning, all the boys headed out to play golf.  Despite all the rain NWA got on Thursday night, they were still able to play and had a great time.  Reese relaxed on the bed while Mama got all ready. She watched the Mickey Mouse club and played with her toys.  SUCH A GOOD BABY!!!!

We had the bridal luncheon at Copeland's and had a great turnout of family, bridesmaids, and lots of friends.  It was delicious and we surprised Kyndall with lots of goodies for her honeymoon.

After the luncheon, we came back to the hotel and enjoyed a little downtime before we headed to Pratt Place.  Rehearsal went great and their wedding planner, Claudia, is a ROCKSTAR!!  I was so impressed with how she handled everything.  We took Reese to rehearsal but then dropped her back off at the Embassy.  Aunt Vicki was so sweet to watch her for us while we went to dinner at Fred's with everyone.  I took lots of pictures (unfortunately the flash wasn't on for a lot of them).

Next up...WEDDING DAY!!!

Pre-Wedding Fun

Woo-Hoo!!!!  My baby sister is married and off to Mexico!!  We had a fantastic weekend with lots of family and friends.  I have LOTS of pictures to share.  All the fun started when Matt, Reese, and I drove into Rogers on Thursday afternoon.  We met the Finnell family at Fish City Grill for lunch.  Afterwards, Mom, Kyndall, Brandi and I headed to the Embassy spa for an afternoon of pampering.  Brynlee and Emma Grace were ready to get their nails and toenails done too.  Thanks for spoiling us rotten Mom!!!

I wish I would have videoed how much this girl was chatting up the sweet lady doing her nails.  #2goingon12

Such a big girl!!

After the spa, we met the boys at Dixie Café for dinner.  Dixie is about the only place we can all go where it's not too busy and our "circus" doesn't bother many people.

Reese was excited to see her Pawpaw.

After dinner, we were off to our hotel room to get settled in for the weekend.  A good night of rest was needed for our busy day on Friday!!

Catching Up on Lately....

It's crazy to me that it's already May!!  I can't even begin to describe how busy we have been.  Amidst work, fighting a horrible sinus infection that has me on antibiotics, taking care of sweet baby girl, and getting ready for Kyndall's wedding, we've been stretched to the MAX.  No matter how crazy things get though, I am still thankful for all the fun we have in between.

We had a great time a few weekends ago when Clay and Katie came in town with their beautiful little girl, Annah Kate.  We had dinner at Bravo on Friday, lunch at Zaza's on Saturday, and spent the afternoon taking the girls to the zoo.

My how times have changed...look at these wonderful Daddy's!!!

So excited!!

Checking out the Penguin Exhibit - Reese just stared at all the penguins swimming.  It was by far the most interesting thing to her all day.

Still smiling...

Even we she got tired...she never fell asleep.  Still smiling with that paci!!

Such a great day and so thankful for our wonderful friends!!

This past weekend was so nice - we had nothing on the agenda and spent Saturday morning enjoying a leisurely morning of cinnamon rolls, cartoons, and fun.  We met Kyndall and Blake at Local Lime for lunch and then this Mama went shopping at Anthropologie.

Someone was so good while waiting with Daddy outside the dressing room!  **Funny side note:  I walked out and the sales women were finding pillows to match her outfit to take pictures - it was like her own little personal photo shoot **

A few of my finds!!  I am always keeping my eyes peeled for comfy summer dresses and adorable tees that will go with boyfriend jeans/shorts.  Anthro is the perfect place to find both!

Sunday morning, we went to church, bought little bit a new car seat, enjoyed lunch at Texas Roadhouse, and spent the afternoon napping and working in the yard. Mom sent me this picture and I have to share.  I cannot wait to see these sweet faces on Thursday!!!

After church - Brynlee, Jack, and Emma Grace

Somebody is all smiles (even on a Monday morning) because two of her favorite people are getting married in 5 days!!

It seems like yesterday that Kyndall and Blake got engaged....  I sure hope big sister can hold it together this weekend. :)  We are so excited and can't wait to celebrate!!  I'll be posting LOTS of wedding fun next week!!

7 Months Old

Well, nothing like being 19 days late on a monthly post ;)  I can't believe another month has gone by....  I don't know how, but Reese, you are now 7 months old (actually almost 8, but we'll ignore Mama's slack) and we cannot believe it!!  Your little personality is one just like your Daddy's.  You are so laid back and usually just chill.  (I guess it's a good thing that you're not type A like your mother ;)  Your Daddy would probably go nuts.)  Here's what you're up to these days....

  • You now have two teeth (both on the bottom) and you have more about to come in.  We can't call you our little gummy anymore.  :(

  • You LOVE LOVE LOVE baby food.  You are eating apples, peaches and bananas for breakfast (no, not all three every day...usually just one).  You love squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, green beans, and peas as well.  The only thing we have tried that you weren't a fan of were prunes, and I can't say that I blame you. Your mama HATES raisins.

  • You sit up so good.  You love your new bathtub (a huge blowup duck) that enables you to sit up, splash, and make a big mess.  You're starting to like little toys in the tub with you.

  • Our newest thing...MUM-MUMS!!!  You love them!!  This is the only food that makes you mad when it's gone.   If I take it away for a second, you immediately start crying.

  • You are holding your own bottle *tear*.  Well, at least you are at school.  I think you come home and like being curled up with Mommy or Daddy and therefore kick back and just relax while we hold it.

  • Clothing....you are wearing 6-9 months... and Mommy is going broke ;)

  • You still love your jumperoo and now enjoy tossing things on the floor to see if Daddy or Mommy will pick it up. You also love the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  It's the one thing that will keep your attention in the morning after breakfast and playtime while Mama gets ready.

  • You continue to be the happiest baby!!  You smile at everyone and just go with the flow in any situation.

I don't have the normal "7 Month" pictures of you, but these are just as good and will have to do.

Everything goes to your mouth and Mama still is paranoid you will fall backwards (even though you haven't in over a month) so I still put the boppy behind you.

Your barnyard buddies are your FAVORITE thing to play with.

You love to watch Jovie run around and she is so good with you. I have to admit I was a little shocked, as Jovie doesn't really play well with other kids.

 Jovie lets you pet her....

And she loves to give you kisses!!  (Believe me right after this was taken, I wiped Reese down good.  Jovie isn't allowed to lick her, it just made for such a cute picture. ;) )

You love to chew on your paci clips, not always your paci

Checkin' it out!!

Such a HAM!!!

Where is the time going?!?!  I love that you are growing just like a healthy baby should be, but I wish it would slow down.  Thankfully, you are still a rocker before naps and bedtime...and I LOVE that.  It gives me a chance to still snuggle you, cuddle you, and just stare at your beautiful face.

We love you some much Reeser!!!  We pray that God blesses you every day of your life!!
