Firecracker Fourth

I'm a little behind, but our Fourth of July was a great one!  We always go to Monroe around the 4th, and just as always, our time there never disappoints.  Things were a little different this year, we didn't have a big celebration like we normally do, because the 4th fell on a Tuesday.  But I have to say, it was kind of nice....  We were able to soak up a lot of time with Amie and Poppy, and the low key couple of days was very refreshing.  We always enjoy seeing our cousins and catching up with friends.  We're excited to see everybody again when we drive back through on our way to the beach in September.

Meeting our new cousin, Claire's sweet baby boy!

Making crafts with Amie :)

We went to Ross and Ann's to see the Davis crew and wound up playing all day on the golf course in the rain.

Matt was finally able to meet sweet Scarlett!

Sparkler Fun

We drove back home on July 3rd, and had planned to go out on the boat with Mom and Dad on the 4th, but it rained. We still had a great time with family, while be so thankful for the freedom we have in this country.
